About Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine

The Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine (CSMM) is the postgraduate school of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING), a leading research centre in the region. The School offers MSc and PhD programs in Molecular Medicine, Medical Genetics, Neurosciences and Biomedical Research. The CSMM provides an unrivalled educational experience to students, who can expect to be taught and mentored by the leading Biomedical Scientists and Neurologists in Cyprus, while also working alongside them in their respective laboratories.

This vibrant environment provides the ideal setting for students to experience and benefit from clinical services, (day clinics and in-patient ward), research (Clinical Sciences and Biomedical Sciences departments) and education. Students of the School are inducted into the research departments and laboratories of the CING which include the research fields of: Biochemical Genetics, Cytogenetics and Genomics, Molecular Genetics, Function and Therapy, Molecular Virology, Cardiovascular Genetics, Electron Microscopy and Molecular Pathology, Molecular Genetics Thalassaemia and Neurogenetics.

MSc programs are offered in full time and part time modes of study with a duration of 1 year and 2 years respectively. PhD programs have a duration of 4 years. Applications commence at the end of February annually. Details at: www.cing.ac.cy/csmm
